Steez @ Mifflin 2011 - Creepfunkin The Block

Over the weekend electronic-funk outfit Steez took to the streets of Madison to play the annual Mifflin St. Block Party. To a crowd of 10,000+ comprised of wild college kids and those who just came to party on a beautiful sunny Saturday afternoon, Matt Williams (keyboards/synthesizers), Steve Neary (guitar and vocals), Rob Bessert (drums), Chris Sell (bass), and Andrzej Benkowski (saxophone) brought the Creepfunk. Opening with a cover one-two punch of Madonna's "Like A Prayer" and Daft Punk's "Robot Rock" the party that started earlier that morning in the two block stretch just west of Madison's capital building got a disco-fanged boost. Steez will be playing various 2011 dates in the Midwest and beyond including Summercamp, Wakarusa, Electric Forest, and Jammin' On The Wolf festivals so make sure you check them out.
