Steez @ Mifflin 2011 - Creepfunkin The Block
Over the weekend electronic-funk outfit Steez took to the streets of Madison to play the annual Mifflin St. Block Party. To a crowd of 10,000+ comprised of wild college kids and those who just came to party on a beautiful sunny Saturday afternoon, Matt Williams (keyboards/synthesizers), Steve Neary (guitar and vocals), Rob Bessert (drums), Chris Sell (bass), and Andrzej Benkowski (saxophone) brought the Creepfunk. Opening with a cover one-two punch of Madonna's "Like A Prayer" and Daft Punk's "Robot Rock" the party that started earlier that morning in the two block stretch just west of Madison's capital building got a disco-fanged boost. Steez will be playing various 2011 dates in the Midwest and beyond including Summercamp, Wakarusa, Electric Forest, and Jammin' On The Wolf festivals so make sure you check them out. And for up to date info on all things Steez visit creepfunk.com or http://www.facebook.com/STEEZcreepfunk

Sauce Hockey - Livin The Dream
There's something to be said about the phrase "livin the dream" and for entrepreneurs Eric Kleineck & Brett Beckfeld they are doing just that. The duo started Sauce Hockey which is a clothing line that encompasses the 3 staples of hockey culture: the rink, the locker room, and the bar. For anyone that has ever played the game of hockey or been around the sport you know that the sport is all about passion, but there is only a small percentage of players who have the swagger that separates them from the rest of the rinkrats. Swagger is what Eric & Brett are all about and as the 2010-2011 hockey season has rolled on into the playoffs Sauce Hockey has gained quite following in the hockey community. During the NHL All-Star break earlier this year the Sauce Hockey crew took off for Vegas to really set in motion what "livin the dream" means to them and recruited up and coming hip hop artist Vee to show the world what they are all about. Enjoy the video and check out saucehockey.com to check out all the new swag.

Mark Legend - Madhouse on Madison
So last night THE CHICAGO BULLS closed out their series against the Indiana Pacers and I'm sure there was more than a few people blasting the new Bulls theme song Madhouse On Madison by Mark Legend. Never heard of Mark Legend? Well that's probably because he is being proclaimed as "the greatest rapper never heard". Check out this song showcasing the hardwood skills Derrick Rose, Carlos Boozer, Joakim Noah, Luol Deng, and the Bench Mob which you will be hearing a lot more of as the playoffs heat up.

All Things M.J.E.T
It's the dawn of a new era.. actually it's just my further exploration into all things that make my brain tick. You may ask why M.J.E.T? Well a little backstory on that: about a month ago I was walking down the Broadway in Brooklyn a few hours before LCD Soundsystem's final show at Madison Square Garden when I came across a vintage apparel storefront. As I peered into the window I discovered a model of E.T wearing an iconic Michael Jackson glove. Let's just say that I was captivated by this figure. Growing up I loved the movie E.T due to my fascination with space. As for Michael Jackson, well his music speaks for itself.
